Young Dro to serve jail time for alleged domestic violence incident involving his current girlfriend and a bowl of banana pudding
According to TMZ, the rapper plead guilty to 1 count of battery/family violence and received sentencing of 12 months behind bars however was only ordered to serve 70 days. Under these conditions, Young Dro could be a free man as soon as October 5, counting time served and a good behavior bonus.
Even if Young Dro does get out of jail early, he will remain on probation for the full 12 months. TMZ also reports under his plea deal, Young Dro must undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation within 30 days of release, participate in domestic violence counseling and, turnover all weapons.
Although Young Dro’s girlfriend declined to press charges back in July, he was taken into custody under suspicion of punching the woman, leaving a bruise and smashing a bowl of banana pudding in her face. After the initial arrest, Young Dro remained behind bars on back child support technicalities which the rapper claimed as a clerical error.
