It’s been a wild ride for Yhung T.O. this year. Earlier this year, the young rapper broke on to the scene nationwide alongside his collective, SOB x RBE, thanks to their record, “Paramedic!” The single found its way on to the Black Panther soundtrack back in February and has been killing it ever since. Not to long afterwards, Yhung T.O. and his SOB x RBE collective dropped their latest project, Gangin’ II. However, things became a bit bumpy later in the year when rumors surfaced of the collective splitting apart. Rumors pointed to Yhung T.O. solo record deal being at the root of the issue. Luckily, those rumors subsided when the team came together to let fans know that Gangin’ II would not be the last time they’d be collaborating.
In addition to remaining with his SOB x RBE collective, Yhung T.O. has decided to pursue his goals as a solo artist. Earlier this year, the Bay Area native announced that he would be signing on with Interscope Records. After announcing the deal, T.O. told fans, “For me to bring my sound to a bigger platform and get the bigger looks I need, Interscope was it.”
With his deal in place, T.O. has dropped his latest solo project. His newest project is called Trust Issues. For nearly thirty minutes, Yhung T.O. holds the project down for ten solid tracks without any features. Check out the full project above and let us know what you think.
