Yella Beezy has been arrested on weapons charges in Texas. However, the Dallas native claims that he may have been set up.
The incident in question took place over Valentine’s Day weekend. The Dallas native was driving his Black SUV when officers claim he was pulled over for running multiple signs. After stopping Yella Beezy, officers searched his vehicle because they allegedly smelled weed inside of the car. During their search, officers found a weapon that was not registered to the rising star.
Yella Beezy and his manager, Adrian Brown, have both refuted the police’s account of what took place. The Dallas rapper and his manager have both maintained that he doesn’t smoke weed, so there would be no sign of marijuana in the vehicle. Furthermore, his manager claims that the firearm in the Black SUV was properly registered.
Most recently, Brown told TMZ that he is working to bail his client out of jail.
