Ten days after announcing the release Rolling Papers II, Wiz Khalifa has come back to announce his upcoming tour with Rae Sremmurd. The duo will co-headline the Dazed and Blazed tour with opening acts, O.T. Genesis and Lil’ Skies.
The tour will kick off at the DTE Energy Music Theater in Detroit on July 21st. From there, Rae Sremmurd and Wiz Khalifa will stop in Toronto, Jacksonville, Tampa, Austin, Dallas, Houston and Cleveland before ending the tour on August 30th in Phoenix.
In a press release earlier today, Live Nation told fans, “The tour will be a can’t-miss event bringing together two influential and culture shaping artists, who continue to march to the beat of their own drums, for one epic co-headlining night.”
The tour comes just in time for the co-headliners newest project. Rae Sremmurd are fresh off of the release of their triple album, SR3MM, which features the likes of The Weeknd, Juicy J, Pharrell and Travis Scott to name a few. The duos newest project landed at number six on the charts during its first week with 56,955 units moved. Wiz’s next album, Rolling Papers II, is set to be released on July 13th. In the meantime, the Pittsburgh native released the first single off of the project, “Real Rich”, featuring Gucci Mane.
