It may be hard to believe, but Will Smith’s The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air will turn thirty next year. Yes, you read that correctly. Next September, the cast will celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the show’s network premiere. Still, Will Smith is not looking like someone who got his biggest break thirty years ago. As he ages, he’s getting even better.
Will Smith has kept busy over the last year or so with a number of big projects. He has launched his Facebook series, Bucket List. He’s also appeared on the Rap Radar podcast with Elliott Wilson and B Dot. Not to mention, he just made his Coachella debut alongside his son, Jaden. With all of that going on, Will Smith is just scratching the surface of what he will do in the next year or so.
Will Smith is set to star in the upcoming reboot for Aladdin and he’s working on a reboot of the Bad Boys franchise. Now, he’s added another big release to his schedule. Today, Will Smith and company released the first trailer for their upcoming film, Gemini Man. Directed by Ang Lee, Will Smith will star as Henry Brogan in this action thriller. According to Paramount Pictures, Smith’s character is “an elite assassin, who is suddenly targeted and pursued by a mysterious young operative that seemingly can predict his every move.”
Gemini Man will hit theaters on October 11, 2019. In the meantime, check out the trailer above.
