Shygirl has shot and released a video for “Wifey Riddim,” one of several standout tracks from latest project, Club Shy Room II. The track effortlessly blends glamorous, upbeat production reminiscent of the mid-2000s with occasional nods to signature New Jersey, Philadelphia and Baltimore Club breakdowns. With the confidence of being the flyest girls in the room, Shygirl, SadBoi and Jorja Smith take turns “popping [their] s—t.”
“Don? now, I know you love when I pop my s—t/Scroll on the ‘Gram, lik? all my pics/A bad gyal need PDA/Grab my ass, make the mandem sick,” Sadboi raps. “Better let the world all know/Give me that ring, let the gyaldem know/That I’m wifey for sure/Hold up, baby, call on my phone.”
