Wale is not a new face to First Take and neither is Lil Wayne. Wale has had involvement in providing a theme song for the popular sport show prior, but today that continues. First Take featuring Stephen A. Smith, Max Kellerman and Molly Qerim officially moved from ESPN2 to ESPN today January 3rd. What better way to celebrate than having Wale as a special performing guest along with Lil Wayne.
With the world watching this was a perfect opportunity for Wale to premiere brand new music. Featuring Lil Wayne of course, the new record is ‘Running Back’. Seen in the video below, the duo perform the new record which is going to be used as the First Take theme song.
