Wale visited The Daily Show with Trevor Noah to perform two songs from his 2019 album Wow…That’s Crazy.
Kelly Price joins Wale to perform their collaboration “Sue Me” first. Taking the stage, Wale shows love to the late Kobe Bryant and daughter Gigi with ‘rest in peace’ sentiments. While Wale continues rapping the song, images featuring important people and moments significant to Black culture play in the background. The photos aligning with the song lyrics include images of talented creators such as Issa Rae, Ava Duvernay, Spike Lee, Marsai Martin and more.
Wale then switches the pace, performing “Love…” a standout song from the Wow…That’s Crazy album featuring Bryson Tiller. In addition to performing the DMV-bred rap star sat down with Trevor Noah to discuss being a balanced artist with a diverse fanbase.
