Sony has been quietly chugging away on the production of the ‘Venom’ standalone film for quite some time now. While the film is due for release later this year, we’ve yet to see any footage or photos from the set of the film, until now. Earlier this morning Sony released the first official image of Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock in the upcoming superhero adaptation.
The photo was given exclusively to IGN and looks very nondescript. Not that we should be expecting spoiler or anything from the first photo from a film, but it’s literally a guy pensively touching a mini day planner. Is this to plan out his anti-hero schedule? Who knows, but I can confirm that most people will be disappointed that this is the first image that we’ve received from the film.
