Usher is heading to Sin City!
The 44-year-old hitmaker will headline Apple Music’s Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada on February 11, 2024. Usher is no stranger to the greater Las Vegas area. In recent years, he’s made an imprint on the city through his ongoing residency. Not to mention, he headlined the 2023 Lovers & Friends Festival at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in May.
“Usher is the ultimate artist and showman. Ever since his debut at the age of 15, he’s been charting his own unique course. Beyond his flawless singing and exceptional choreography, Usher bares his soul,” Jay-Z said in a press release.
“His remarkable journey has propelled him to one of the grandest stages in the world. I can’t wait to see the magic.”
Usher is the latest in a long line of generation-defining artists to grace the stage at the site of the Super Bowl. Last year, Rihanna returned to put together a showstopping performance in Arizona. One year later, Dr. Dre brought 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and Eminem to the stage. Now, Usher will have the opportunity to bring 30 years of hits to Allegiant Stadium as a new Super Bowl champion is crowned.
“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before,” Usher said.
“Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon.”
