Lil’ Baby has big plans for the summer. Not only will he make his rounds across the country while on tour with Chris Brown, but he will also bring his new documentary to Amazon Prime. Quality Control and Motown Records have announced that the Atlanta native’s new documentary, Untrapped, will debut on the streaming platform on August 26, 2022.
Directed by Karam Gill, Untrapped tells the story of the Atlanta native as he makes his way through the streets of Georgia and builds a path toward superstardom. Along the way, Lil’ Baby recalls many of the challenges he faced in Atlanta and thanks many of the people who helped him overcome them. In the end, viewers get to see how Lil’ Baby became the trendsetter he is today.
“I’m blessed to be able to tell my story and have people care to hear it,” Lil’ Baby said.
“This film is a real look into my journey, and if it inspires even one person to believe that they can get through hard stuff and dare to follow a dream, then it was worth every penny spent and hour worked. My story is many people’s story and I’m excited to share it.”
