Tyla has unveiled the track list for her self-titled, debut album. The 14-track project will include contributions from Travis Scott, Gunna, Tems, Becky G, Kelvin Momo and Skillibeng.
“Everything that’s happening has surpassed anything I could have dreamt of. African music is going global and I’m so blessed to be one of the artists pushing the culture. I’ve been working on my sound for [two] years now and I’m so ready for the world to hear it. I cannot wait for the world to experience an African pop star,” the rising pop star wrote on Instagram.
The last six weeks have been pretty hectic for the South African vocalist. In February, she won Best African Music Performance at the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
“I never thought I’d say I won a GRAMMY at 22 years old,” she said.
Shortly thereafter, she received a bit of bad news. The singer was forced to postpone her first headlining tour due to an unforeseen injury.
“It’s hard having to turn down opportunities you’ve been waiting your whole life for but God has his plan,” she told her fans.
Despite her most recent setback, Tyla is ready to release her debut studio album on Friday, March 22. Check out the full track list below.
