Kanye West is no stranger to collaboration projects. Throughout his career, he has worked alongside the likes of Jay-Z and Kid Cudi to release joint LPs. Looking ahead, it appears that he is inching closer to releasing a joint album with none other than Ty Dolla $ign. During a recent show, the California native told fans that the project would arrive “soon.”
“I just landed on a flight from Saudi Arabia. I’ve been out there recording a part of my album with my brother, Ye, and that’s coming real soon,” he said.
Ty Dolla $ign didn’t provide a release date, but it’s not secret that the duo is preparing to share their work with their fans. Last month, multiple outlets reported that the LP would arrive before the end of the month. More recently, the duo was forced to cancel a listening event prior to the album’s release due to logistical issues. As it stands now, the project reportedly remains shelved until Ty Dolla $ign and Kanye West work out a variety of logistical issues. Until then, fans will have to replay their most recent projects, Cheers to the Best Memories and Donda.
