On October 30, 2015, Tsu Surf delivered his highly anticipated project, “Newark”, which is titled after his gritty hometown. Throughout the project Surf brought you into his world the best way he could through the lyrics on the project. There’s many stand out records on Newark from “Penne Alla Vodka” to “Conversations” with Joe Budden to “Loyalty” with Kiss to “Flash Baccs of the LICC” and more. “Keep Praying” is another stand out record, just based off of Surf’s verse and how he visualizes life as a man in the streets of Newark. Not only was Surf’s verse vivid enough for you to see what he wanted you to see, Styles P and Emanny are the perfect contributors as they add what has made them great throughout their respective careers.
“Bury me with the .40, no disrespect, but I never met this so called “Jesus””
