Former President Donald Trump will participate in a CNN town hall at 9 p.m. EST on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Moderated by Kaitlan Collins, the town hall will take place at St. Anselm College in New Hampshire.
“The former President and 2024 Republican presidential candidate will take questions from Collins and a live audience of New Hampshire Republican and undeclared voters who say they intend to vote in the New Hampshire Republican presidential primary,” a press release from CNN reads.
“CNN has a longstanding tradition of hosting leading presidential candidates for Town Halls and political events as a critical component of the network’s robust campaign coverage. This event with former President Trump will be the first of many for CNN in the coming months as CNN correspondents travel across the country to hear directly from voters in the runup to the 2024 presidential election.”
Trump has not appeared on CNN since filing a $475 million lawsuit against the network in October. Instead, he has steered toward media appearances on FOX News, Newsmax and OAN. As a result, he will be met by undeclared voters rather than more conservative-leaning hosts and pundits. Viewers can watch the entire conversation live next week on CNN or on May 11 on On Demand.
