An injury to a key piece to the Cavaliers couldn’t have come at a worse time. The Cavs are 3-5 and are still in search of what LeBron James continues to describe as “sustained effort” for a full 48 minutes. The loss to the Pacers on Wednesday night only exacerbates the issues that the Cavs are facing. If the team wants to reach their true potential as an eastern conference powerhouse, it will have to learn to coalesce naturally.
Thompson missing time so early in the season is a definite step back regarding building that chemistry. Continue to check back with Def Pen for updates.
