If anyone has made a giant step forward over the last year and change, it’s Travis Scott. Travis Scott has been winning in music, business, fashion and beyond. Most notably, Travis Scott set the standard with his latest album Astroworld and his Wish You Were Here tour. Not to mention, he’s dropped a number of limited edition sneakers and welcomed his first child into the world. With all of that going on, Travis Scott has still found time to give back to his hometown of Houston, Texas. Not long ago, Travis Scott gave away free tickets to his Wish You Here tour to those who voted in the 2018 midterm elections. This time, he’s back with another initiative.

Travis Scott has donated $100,000 to a local Houston after-school program called Workshop Houston. In addition to providing academic support, Workshop Houston provides students to opportunities in fashion, music, design, theater, dance and more. Among other things, the program intends to use the funds to help students recreate Michelle Obama’s Milly gown  and hold a drone racing competition. Needless to say, the donation is much appreciated and will be well used. For more information about Workshop Houston, visit the organization’s official website by clicking here.
