The fifth addition to the Chixtape series follows suit with modern versions of R&B and Hip Hop tracks popular throughout the early 2000s. Tory Lanez took to Instagram live to vibe out to his own sound, giving viewers a first listen.
The growing two year gap since Chixtape 4 released created a void filled by Tory Lanez previewing the fifth installment. The artist has given a taste of his take on Trey Songz “I Cant Help But Wait” among other millennial favorites.
Beyond Chixtape 5, Tory Lanez recently featured on T Pain’s newest track “Getcha Roll On” .
When not in the studio, Tory Lanez uses social media not only to interact with fans but challenge peers in rap. The Canadian artist Tweeted out “I’m the best rapper alive right now … I will body any of yall ni*gas out! Period…” in a series of tweets, calling out heavy hitters such as J Cole and Pusha T.
