“In 15 years in Hollywood, no one in Hollywood has a memory of going to a sold-out Kevin Hart show, there being a line for him, ever getting a standing ovation at any comedy club,” Williams told Sharpe.
Shortly thereafter, Hart took a few swipes at Williams during his show, NBA Unplugged with Kevin Hart. When NBA Champion Kendrick Perkins asked the comedian about the matter, he compared the frenzy surrounding the interview and Williams to a “circus.”
“You don’t entertain the circus. You watch it,” Hart told Perkins.
“When a lion comes out and rides the bike, you don’t think about it too hard. You just go, ‘Okay, that’s crazy. The lion is riding a bike.’ And then you go home and enjoy the rest of your day.”

Not long after Hart spoke to Perkins on ESPN, Hart’s ex-wife, Torrei, announced that she would be joining Williams during three shows on his tour. When asked if she had joined the tour to spite her ex-husband, the veteran comedian responded with a question of her own.
“Why would he do that?” Torrei Hart began.
“Katt [and I] are friends. [We have been friends for] like 20 years. We’re so close to the point that Katt has babysat my dog.”
Similarly, Kevin Hart said that he “hopes the tour is great.”
“I want everybody to win,” Hart told TMZ.
