From her eye-popping visuals to her eccentric production, the Philadelphia is always keeping her fans on their toes. So, it comes as no surprise that her latest single is raising more than a few eyebrows.
Tierra Whack’s “Walk The Beat” feels like it was meant for the runway of a Pyer Moss fashion show or Virgil Abloh showcase. Backed by production from J. Melodic, the Philadelphia bounces around the electronic, upbeat record with a flare that is needed in a signature Tierra Whack record.
“Alexander Wang with that Helmut Lang/Ghetto fab so I’m still eatin’ chicken wings/Versatile so I can keep switchin’ lanes/I got plenty Janes, I got plenty rings,” she raps.
“Ain’t nothin’ to a queen, you ain’t said a thing/But that Jim Carrey, but they bite the slang/Like to call him, like to listen ‘caus? he wanna hang/He was goin’ nuts so I let him hang.”
