Slim Thug has dropped a new album titled Thug Life. The LP’s release comes just a few days after the Houston Hip Hop veteran announced he tested positive for COVID-19.
The COVID-19 pandemic isn’t stopping the show. The Boss Hogg Outlawz leader’s latest work is comprised of 10 tracks.
To complete his latest work, he enlisted the help of a few other Houston legends including Scarface, Z-Ro and the late M.U.G. Slim also enlists some younger Houston favorites on Thug Life. LE$ and Yung Al both make an appearance on the project.
Released last week, his single, “This World,” highlights today’s ups and downs, with a telling sample from the late Charles Bradley.
