Within the last few years, The Handmaid’s Tale has cemented itself as one of the most critically acclaimed television shows of the streaming era. In three seasons, the show has earned two Golden Globe Awards and 15 Emmy Awards. Heading into the show’s fourth season, Elisabeth Moss and company will look to add to those numbers.
In season four, the cast is looking for freedom in the face of oppression. The fight against the Gilead takes another turn in the show’s latest season.
“The cultural phenomenon picks up where we left off, with June’s fight for freedom against Gilead. But the risks she takes bring unexpected and dangerous new challenges, and her desire for justice and revenge threaten to consume her and destroy her most cherished relationships,” Hulu writes.
