Celebrating the 25th anniversary of their classic album, The Score, Wyclef Jean, Pras Michel and Lauryn Hill will come together for a worldwide tour. The 12-date journey will begin with a secret show in New York on September 22. However, the majority of the dates will not begin until November. On November 2, the trio will take over the United Center. From there, they’ll make stops in Oakland, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Miami, Newark and Washington, D.C. Afterward, the tour will head out overseas to France, the U.K., Ghana and Nigeria in December.
“I decided to honour this significant project, its anniversary, and the fans who appreciated the music by creating a peaceful platform where we could unite, perform the music we loved, and set an example of reconciliation for the world,” Lauryn Hill said in a statement obtained by NME.
“As I celebrate 25 years with the Fugees, my first memory was that we vowed, from the gate, we would not just do music we would be a movement. We would be a voice for the un-heard, and in these challenging times, I am grateful once again, that God has brought us together,”
Tickets for the tour will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. Check out the full list of dates below.
