It’s been an erratic winter, even by Florida standards. Record lows followed by humid weeks of t-shirts and shorts. Thousands of kids are dragging their parents through the theme parks and parents are dragging their kids to school and millions are just dragging – struggling through another hard day working for less pay, or struggling to find a job, a home, happiness, love. The concrete jungle overtakes the actual jungle, one history is written over another in the endless cycle of death and rebirth, a cycle that is driven by love. FLA Heartbreak is an album with a plurality of perspectives on the experience of love – love at first sight, lust mistaken for love, infidelity, and the disappointment and acceptance of love torn apart. This is music for everyone, music about the ultimate connection between two people and between all the peoples of the world. This is music that strives to impart understanding without necessarily being understood, to communicate human emotion, human character, and human experience while enriching new experiences for the listener. We’ve struggled to bring this music to you, to be able to cross paths with you in the realm of emotion and imagination. It’s been a journey for us and we hope you enjoy it on your own journey.
