Principal photography is just getting underway for the film adaptation of NJ Crisp’s play, That Good Night, and the cast is in the process of being finalized. Deadline confirmed this morning that two more have been added to the cast: Gotham‘s Erin Richards and The Bridge‘s Sofia Helin. These two ladies have joined the previously established cast, including John Hurt and Max Brown.
The movie follows a famed screenwriter named Ralph (Hurt), who must come to terms with his impending death. As the end approaches, he resolves to complete two final goals: reconciliation with his estranged son, and to avoid burdening his wife Anna (Helin).
The film is written by Charles Savage, and scheduled for a five week shoot on the coastline of Portugal. Alan Latham will co-produce with Savage. The executive producers include Paul Ward, Julian Hicks, and Gary Collins.
