There was no known correlation between the two sides until the deal became public on Wednesday, July 12. Thabo has not had any meeting this offseason with teams, but his pairing with the Jazz is perfect. He is a solid defender which fits Quin Snyder’s vision for the team.
Thabo published a blog post depicting his departure from Atlanta, which you can read here (this is the English translation).
After multiple reports of Sefolosha being shopped around this season, his exit from Atlanta isn’t shocking.
