Intriguing deal by the Atlanta Hawks as they sign 30 year old Thabo Sefolosha according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com.
The Hawks were looking to add a wing player who could be a defensive specialist after trading away Lou Williams to the Toronto Raptors last week.
Sefolosha, 30, averaged 6.3 points and 3.6 rebounds in 61 starts for the Oklahoma City Thunder last season.
I really don’t like them stats. You can’t be a starter in this league and only average less than 7 points a game.
With the Hawks trading Lou Williams (which I don’t agree with) they are going to have to hope they can light a fire under Thabo. Because 6.3 points per game, does not fly.
