Start bumping Vanessa Carlton again y’all, we’re getting White Chicks 2. No official announcement has been made but Terry Crews, who played pro-basketball player Latrell Spencer in the first film revealed that a sequel is in the works.
While on ‘Watch What Happens Live!’ with Andy Cohen, Crews was asked about White Chicks 2 and answered a lot more frankly than I expected, honestly. “I actually got with Shawn [Wayans] and he was like, ‘Man, we’re doing it, we’re getting it going,'” Crews said. “I’ve been working out for 15 years so I can do White Chicks 2, y’all! Please, please.”
Check out the short clip from the interview below:
When the first White Chicks came out, Crews was a relatively unknown actor. He’d had similar bit parts in other movies and shows but his scene-stealing turn as Latrell Spencer was a turning point in his career. He’s since gone on to star in the Expendables films as well as Brooklyn Nine-Nine as the beloved Sgt. Jeffords. He’s even found his way into reality TV as he now hosts NBC’s America’s Got Talent and its spin-off.
Nothing’s really known about White Chicks 2 yet but be sure to stay plugged into Def Pen for any updates!
