Tekashi 6ix9ine sued by an unidentified woman after she was injured in a 2018 shooting involving the rapper.
The woman was allegedly caught in the crossfires of a shooting between Tekashi 6ix9ine and the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. According to Billboard, a complaint was filed in a New York Supreme Court for “grievous physical and mental injuries” including emotional and mental distress. She is seeking $75 million in damages and $75 million in punitive damages.
Allegedly members of the Nine Trey Blood Gang entered the courtyard Smurf Village to film a video without permission from the building. Tekashi 6ix9ine was made aware and upon learning his alleged kidnappers were present, he ordered violence. The woman claims she was standing in the courtyard when shots were fired, hitting her left foot.
The gunshot caused her to fall, injuring her back and knee as well, requiring surgery and physical therapy. She is also suing the Fulton Park Associates and Prime Protective Bureau, the security company that allegedly allowed the video shoot to take place.
Fashion Nova is also suing the Brooklyn rapper for $2.25 million for unfulfilled contract duties. Tekashi 6ix9ine is set to be released from prison in August 2020.
