Video of Daniel “Tekashi 6ix9ine” Hernandez allegedly being kidnapped has been released from the Southern District Court of New York. Obtained by the Inner City Press, the three minute video shows the rapper allegedly arguing with Anthony “Harv” Ellison, guns being drawn and much more.
The incident was first reported in the summer of 2018 when the rapper was leaving the set of the “FEFE” video featuring Nicki Minaj. First, sources close to TMZ indicated that Hernandez was pistol whipped as he attempted to enter his home and then robbed. Then, Hernandez allegedly told law enforcement that his car was hit from behind when two men with guns jumped out of the car behind him, dragged him out of his car and kidnapped him.
In the hours immediately following the incident, rumors surfaced indicating that the kidnapping may have been staged. Later on, attorney Deveraux Cannick also argued that the incident was staged.
Cannick said, “No robbery or kidnapping or assault happened. Didn’t happen.”
He added, “(Tekashi) trolls every time he’s about to drop a new album. Gotta get that buzz up. That’s how he makes money.”
Shortly after, Hernandez headed up to iHeartMedia to clear the air with legendary radio host, Angie Martinez. In the interview, Hernandez attempted to tell the entire story from start to finish. With new video evidence, there is a lot more to see and understand. Watch the full video above.
More details will be reported as they become available.
