Team USA likes to dunk, a lot. Their five game exhibition showcase toured a majority of the United States in preparation for the 2016 Rio Olympics. They journey on the path on a gold medal began a couple of weeks ago with their training camp in Las Vegas, practicing together and even going up against the USA select team.
After that camp ended, Team USA began their exhibition tour, pitting them against potential future Rio Olympics opponents. They made easy work of Argentina, decimated China twice, struggled but still killed Venezuela and a depleted Nigeria team didn’t stand a chance against Team USA.
Five games, five blowouts. There’s not much to take away from their showcase beside they are really good, they should win gold and they like to make some fancy plays, even if some of them don’t get finished. Check out some of the best they had to offer below.
