Tampa Bay Buccaneers veteran safety T.J. Ward was arrested Wednesday morning on two charges related to drug possession.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department, Ward was arrested at 8:11 a.m. He was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and $2,500 bond.
T.J. Ward was signed by the Buccaneers just a few hour after being cut by the Denver Broncos. This season has been a forgetful one for the vet. He’s recorded just 31 tackles with no sacks or interceptions over 5 starts and time as a rotation piece.
Hopefully, he can revive his career in a different setting as he’s set to hit free agency this offseason.
