With the release of Everything Is Love, Daytona, Culture II, Redemption, Nasir and Ye, this has been an exciting year for rap. On top of the music that has been released, the festivals and live shows have been equally impressive. Who could forget Beyonce’s showstopping performance at Coachella? The amazing thing is that we’re only have way through the year. Later this year, Pitchfork Festival will tear down Chicago and OVO Fest will heat up Toronto. Among the great festivals and live shows to take place this year, you may want to add another one to your calendar. On September 22nd, Trillectro will return to the Merriweather Post Pavillion in Columbia, Maryland
This year’s Trillectro show will feature the likes of The Internet, Young Thug, Rico Nasty, 2 Chainz, Playboi Carti and Sheck Wes just to name a few. In addition, Trillectro will be offering up some of the best chicken and mumbo sauce that the nation’s capital has to offer. Headlining this year’s show is SZA. Coming off a short run on TDE’s Championship Tour that ended with her requiring surgery on her vocal chords, SZA will make her return to the stage this September. Hear her perform records like “The Weekend”, “Go Gina” and “All The Stars”.
