Hard work beats talent when talent isn’t working. Luckily, North Carolina’s Swift has both talent and a great work ethic. The all around artist made his name back in 2016 with his breakout single, “Pull Up”. In the emerging years of his career, Swift has made his name by working with some of music’s best including 9th Wonder, No I.D. Quavo, August Alsina, Don Cannon and many more. Having done stints with Epic Records and Def Jam on his way up, Swift is back to his grind as an independent act. This weekend, the experience southern act is back with a new record and visual called “Elevate”.
“Elevate” serves as the lead single for Swift’s new project, Worth The Wait, which features North Carolina artists Phocuz and Loverboy Vo. On his newest single, Swift delivers the blend of rap and harmonies that he has become known for. All the while, Swift sticks to his smooth, collected style. As the track states, the goal is to avoid “staying in the same place forever”. As he continues to drop more new music, Swift look to build off the success of this project and past records like “Pull Up”. Watch the full video above and stay tuned for new music from Swift.
