
In mid-July, a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski surfaced that Manu Ginobili was finalizing a deal to return to the San Antonio Spurs. For over a month, there was no further news on Ginobili’s future with the Spurs. On Thursday, Shams Charania reported that Ginobili has re-signed with the Spurs:

Ginobili, 40 years old, has spent the entirety of his 15-year NBA career in San Antonio. With the Spurs, he’s won four championships, made two All-Star and All-NBA Teams, and won one Sixth Man of the Year award.
Last season, Ginobili averaged 7.5 points and 2.7 assists in 18.7 minutes per game while shooting just 39 percent from the field.
