Your in-flight entertainment just got better, apart from having to deal with the occasional crying baby you can now stream music during your flight thanks to Spotify. Today it was announced that Spotify and Virgin America have teamed up for this unheard of venture, Virgin America already offers Netflix streaming courtesy of its ViaStat program.

Spotify users can now pump your favorite tunes for free, at 35,000 feet through March 2, 2016 with ViaSat. Our newest flights sporting ViaSat in-flight internet now have enhanced, high quality music streaming onboard, so you’ll never miss a beat.
Even though the program won’t officially be rolled out until March of next year, there is still enough time for it to be perfected and running up to par. Heres to the partnership that will lay the ground work for music streaming 35,000 feet in the air.
