Snoh Aalegra is one of the more underappreciated musical acts going right now. Over her long career, she’s managed to work with acts like Vince Staples, Logic, Luke James and many more. In addition, she performed at TIDAL X Brooklyn last year and she just headlined her first major tour in 2018. Heading in to 2019, Snoh Aalegra is hoping to continue her success with the release of her first new record this year.
Yesterday, Snoh Aalegra hopped on Instagram to announced the release of her video for “I Want You Around”. In the first verse, the soulful musician sings, “It’s not that I don’t want you here. It’s something about the way you stare into my eyes. I know that I don’t make things clear. I fall for you every time I try to resist you.” On the hook, she sings, “I don’t want to kiss you. I just want to feel you. I want you around.” The video also features a cameo from A.S.A.P’s A$AP Twelvy as her potential love interest.
The accomplished artist is currently working towards a new project that is rumored to be released later this year. In the meantime, check out her video for “I Want You Around”.
