Pinky Cole is bringing her popular vegan chain further north. Earlier this month, the entrepreneur revealed that she’d purchased a location in Washington, D.C.
“When one door closes, close on a property,” she wrote.
“[I] Just purchased a property in D.C. between 12th and H street for the next Slutty Vegan.”
Located at 1246 H Street NE, the chain’s newest location will sit across the street from other popular Washington, D.C. restaurants like Pow Pow, Bronze and Sol Mexican Grill. On The Rocks, Granville Moore’s and The Pug also sit along H Street in northeast Washington, D.C.
Slutty Vegan is best known for its success in Georgia with five different locations across the state. Not to be forgotten, Cole has expanded her business to Birmingham, Alabama and Brooklyn, New York. Moving forward, Cole and company aim to open up new locations in Harlem, New York and Columbus, Ohio.
At this time, there is no word as to when the Washington, D.C. location will welcome in customers. Stay tuned for more information to come.
