Jay-Z is Hip-Hop’s first billionaire. Forbes reported that the New York Hip-Hop legend had accomplished the feat earlier this week. Soon thereafter, the publication reported that his Roc Nation artist, Rihanna, had been named the world’s richest female musician. With all of the accolades coming his way, Jay-Z may have just opened up the door for another opportunity.
During a recent run in with TMZ, Shark Tank co-host, Barbara Corcoran, was asked about the businessman’s latest accomplishments. The television host responded, “He deserves it, c’mon.” She added, “He’s a self-promoter. He works his a** off. Why shouldn’t he be a billionaire?”
As the brief interview concluded, she was also asked about the possibility of having the New York native on the show. She answered, “I bet he’ll be the best shark, why not?” Corcoran ultimately doubled down and said, “I’ll make sure he gets invited.”
The show is currently in its tenth year and was renewed back in February. Shark Tank‘s main cast consists of Corcoran, Mark Cuban, Daymond John, Lori Greiner, Kevin O’Leary and Robert Herjavec. Over the years, the list of guest hosts has included Alex Rodriguez, Charles Barkley, Jeff Foxworthy and more. Why not have Mr. Carter on for an episode or two?
