If you’re unfamiliar with SAFE by name, you are not unfamiliar with his work. Over the years, he’s earned a co-sign from Drake’s OVO imprint, worked on Polo G’s Hall of Fame album and collaborated with Khalid. At 24 years old, he’s done many of the things that established acts hope of doing and he’s just getting started. The next step in his journey revolves around the release of his latest project, Get Home Safe Part 1. Assisted by Kaash Paige and Kiana Ledé, the seven-track project serves as his introduction to broader audiences at large as a solo artist.
“[I am] excited to finally share this first installment,” SAFE said about his new project.
SAFE’s newest release adds to an exciting day in music. Leading the way, Saba, 2 Chainz and Yo Gotti have all released new albums while Nicki Minaj and YG dropped new singles. Not to mention, Ravyn Lenae, ShaSimone and King Von also dropped new music. To top it all off, J. Cole has also hinted at a new album that may come sooner rather than later.
