Among the new acts of R&B’s next generation, few have risen as fast as Miami’s Sabrina Claudio. In 2016, Claudio made her first waves in the music industry when she signed with Atlantic Records and began uploading her first studio records on to Soundcloud. Shortly thereafter, Claudio began making noise with the release of her breakout extended play project, Confidently Lost. Riding the wave of the title track’s commercial success, Confidently Lost rose to the top twenty of Billboard’s Heat Chart. The Miami native came back in October of 2017 to release her debut mixtape, About Time. Building off of the success of the previous project, the project climbed to a top fifteen position on the Billboard charts.
Since the success of her 2017 campaign, Claudio has hit a speed bump. Earlier this year, fans were dismayed when older tweets from the singer using racial slurs were dug up. After a public relations nightmare, Claudio has gotten back into the swing of things. Preparing for the release of her debut album, Claudio has released “All To You” and “Don’t Let Me Down” featuring Khalid.
