Russ is taking things to the next level with the release of “Ugly” featuring Lil’ Baby. Backed by Boi-1da production, the platinum-selling artist opens the year with a stadium-style anthem celebrating his success from the last year.
“I don’t gotta say, ‘What’s up,’ to you, I don’t gotta say, ‘Hey’/And I don’t gotta act like I f*ck with you, b*tch, I’m already paid/And if you talk sh*t, then it’s up with you, and that’s where it’s gon’ stay, yeah/’Cause I ain’t gotta act like I f*ck with you, ’cause I’m already paid,” he raps.
For the video, Russ joins Lil’ Baby in the strip club as they throw some money and enjoy a few drinks. “Ugly” sets up a major year for the two artists. Riding high off the success of “Best On Earth” with Bia, the Shake The Snow Globe musician will likely hit the road again later this year. Meanwhile, Lil’ Baby will take his victory lap after My Turn dominated the charts all of 2020.
