
Roddy Ricch was reportedly arrested moments prior to his performance at Governors Ball this weekend. According to multiple reports, the California native was traveling to the festival when his vehicle was stopped at a security checkpoint. After searching the vehicle, law enforcement officials allegedly found a loaded firearm inside the vehicle. From there, Roddy Ricch was reportedly taken into custody.
Along with two others, Roddy Ricch was taken to the 110 Precinct police station in Queens, New York. While there, the trio was hit with the following charges:
- Criminal Possession Of A Weapon
- Possession Of A Large Capacity Ammo Feeding Device
- Unlawful Possession Of A Large Capacity Device
As Roddy Ricch and two others were taken into custody, festival organizers instructed attendees to check out sets from Denzel Curry and Joji. Since then, Variety has reported that Roddy Ricch was released from custody. However, it is unclear if the two others taken into custody have been released as well.
Roddy Ricch nor his representatives has issued an official statement regarding the matter as of yet.
