Actress Regina King recently wrapped up the massively successful season finale of HBO’s Watchmen. At the moment, it’s unclear if the show will return for a second season. Creator Damon Lindelof has publicly said that he doesn’t have any ideas for a second season. Furthermore, he has indicated that he would be open to letting someone else take the reigns for a second season.
Originally, Watchmen was billed to the media as miniseries, but similar to Big Little Lies, it may return for a second season. This week, King was asked about the possibility of second season.
She told The Hollywood Reporter, “I couldn’t even begin to speak on that. All I can say is if season two came back, I would want it to be comparable to season one. That sounds like a tall hill to climb!:
HBO has not publicly stated if the show has plans for a second seasons, but fans are definitely in love with the first. Check out the show’s first nine episodes on HBO right now.
