Reason is back and he’s got a lot on his mind. Continuing T.D.E’s Fan Appreciation Week, the California native has dropped off the video for his latest single, “Might Not Make It.” Carson’s own Reason teased the single yesterday when he posted a video of himself writing the names of Donald Trump, Kanye West and a few others on a white board. Understandably, most fans believed those to be features or the names of songs on his next project. In fact, those were just a few of the names he mentioned in his “How To Rob” homage. From the City Girls to Tekashi 6ix9ine, no one is safe.
“Drink a bottle of wine with Ari Lennox on some linen sheets/Rub her down with shea, but her vocals make the sex elite/I make her do scissor with SZA, I be watchin’, recordin,” he raps.
“Might Not Make It” is just the latest single he’s released from his new project, New Beginnings. Leading up to this video, he’s put out records like “Flick It Up” featuring Ab-Soul and “Trapped In” featuring Boogie and Ab-Soul. There’s no set release date for his project, but we can only assume that it’s on the way. In the meantime, check out “Might Not Make It” above.
