June 21st has proven to be one of the busiest release dates in music this year. Nicki Minaj, Lil’ Baby, Future, Lil’ Uzi Vert and many more have decided to release new singles. Meanwhile, Lil’ Nas X, B.E.N.N.Y The Butcher and more have gone the route of release seven-track projects. Not to mention, Gucci Mane, Trina and more have decided to drop full-length albums. Within all of this new music, Randy Newman has cut through to release one of the more important works of music of the year.
Randy Newman has released the official soundtrack for Toy Story 4. Newman is responsible for the music that accompanied the first three classic animated films. Chris Stapleton’s version of “Cowboy” leads the way for the new soundtrack. The project also features a new version of the classic song, “You’ve Got A Friend In Me.” In total, the project comes with more than two dozen tracks featuring contributions from both Chris Stapleton and Randy Newman.
