For the last two months, the Cook County State Attorney’s Office has been at the center of the two biggest cases in entertainment. Most recently, the courts in Cook County have been at the center of the ongoing Jussie Smollett case. As of late, Smollett has been let go from Empire for the remainder of the season and he’s been charged with filing a false police report. Now, the attention in Cook County has been shifted towards the two decade saga involving R. Kelly.
