Queen Latifah will host the 2014 Hollywood Film Awards.
The talk show host will emcee the Nov. 14 event at the Hollywood Palladium.
The two-hour event will be broadcast for the first time on CBS, beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
“I’m honored to be a part of such a legendary award show,” said Latifah in a statement. “The Hollywood Film Awards have been a staple in the awards season for years, and I’m excited to be the first host to bring them to television!”

The awards show will kick off at 7:30 p.m. on CBS with a red carpet arrivals special, and will be followed by a live one-hour recap and interview program with CBS This Morning anchors Charlie Rose,Norah O’Donnell and Gayle King.
