Lucasfilm has revealed the creative minds behind the mysterious Project Luminous title. The project’s creative director, Michael Siglain, told fans that Claudia Gray, Justina Ireland, Daniel José Older, Cavan Scott and Charles Soule were working on the mysterious content. It is widely believed that the project will act as the follow-up to the current Star Wars trilogy.
In addition, the Project Luminous team revealed a slide hinting at the title during New York Comic Con on Friday. The slide read, “The Force is what gives a Jedi his power. It’s an energy field created by all living things…. Until…Project Luminous, 2020.”
The slide refers to Obi-Wan Kenobi’s explanation of the force in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
Lucasfilm has remained relatively tight lipped about the project and what it will entail. In the meantime, Lucasfilm will continue to promote the December release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
