Post Malone is back with a brand new single. The Pop artist initially teased the single last week during a stop on his Bud Light Dive Bar Tour in New York. He described the record as “a little f*cking different, it’s got a f*cking fat groove.”
Despite it’s funk like feel, the song has a bit more of somber tone. Throughout the song, Post Malone discusses a relationship that has unfortunately turned sour. As the summer comes to an end, this song fits right into the fall weather.
He sings, “We couldn’t turn around/’Til we were upside down/I’ll? be the bad guy now/But? no, I ain’t too proud.”
Later, he says, “Seasons change and our love went cold/Feed? the flame ’cause we can’t let it go/Run away, but we’re running in circles.”
“Circles” appears to be the lead single for Post Malone’s upcoming album that is tentatively titled Hollywood’s Bleeding. It will serve as the follow-up to his best-selling, award-winning album, Beerbongs & Bentleys. Let’s see if this project can have the same success.
